1. Research and development status
Oceryn3D, the ocean nowcast and forecast system developed by Oceryn AI, is under active research and development. It is not an operational service. Capabilities, roadmap items and interface previews on this website are provided for information and demonstration only.
2. Validation figures
Performance figures on this website are interim research results. Unless stated otherwise they compare the forecast model with persistence on specified validation years, using long-term data from a global ocean model as both the starting state and the reference truth. They do not describe skill with real-time inputs, skill against independent observations, or skill in any particular region, and they may change as training and testing continue. They are not guarantees of future performance.
3. Illustrative values
The animated maps and the interface preview use an illustrative, hand-built current field. Their values are not output from Oceryn3D and must not be used as ocean data.
4. No warranty of accuracy
Ocean emulation and AI-derived estimates are inherently uncertain. Oceryn AI makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, reliability or fitness for any particular purpose of any information, output or value produced by Oceryn3D or presented on this Site.
5. Not for navigational or safety-critical use
Do not use this website, Oceryn3D, or any output from it for navigation, collision avoidance, distress response, or any safety-critical, operational or life-preserving decision. Always rely on official sources, such as national hydrographic offices, meteorological agencies, classification societies and certified navigational equipment, for such decisions.
